Hard Wood Flooring Commercial

Hard wood flooring cleaningMany commercial properties are leading the trend in the use of decorative hard flooring in their properties. From the use of wood finishes to vinyls like Amtico and Karndean. This has resulted in a whole new market being developed in the cleaning and maintenance industry.

The appearance of the hard floor will depend on the materials used and its present condition. Other important factors to consider are what finishes if any have been applied to it in its lifetime and what conditions it has had to suffer.

Chem-Dry Harewood & Roundhay is able to restore and improve almost any style of hard flooring. Services range from general maintenance to full renovation after years of neglect on many varied flooring materials.

With careful preparation and our three step process your floors can be beautifully restored and protected against the heaviest of wear for many years to come.

STAGE 1:

GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND FLOOR PREPARATION

Removes built up dirt and grime and if necessary old worn finishes. Wooden floors can be prepared by liquid sanding (no dust or sawdust anywhere). Gouges and scratches can be colour matched to look like natural grain. All in a simple low hassle, dust free option to preparing floors.

STAGE 2:

SEALING

Chem-Dry Seal preserves the natural colour of the floor surface - no tints or staining. Just the floor as it was first laid. Another major advantage is its very quick drying time allowing top finishes to be applied almost immediately.

STAGE 3:

FINISHES

Finishes add protection to the floor. Chem-Dry finishes are all of commercial quality and are measured in the amount of footfall they can withstand without showing signs of wear and tear. Imported from America where hard floors are more commonplace they are proven in the commercial market as one of the best products around.

Wood finishes come in three types- gloss, semi-gloss and matt. Other hard floor finishes are all gloss.

All finishes are dry within hours rather than days. In most situations down time on floors is reduced to within hours rather than days as with other methods.
